Την ώρα που βρίσκομαι στην Κέρκυρα για τον (τελευταίο για φέτος) γάμο της Μαρίας και του Αλέξανδρου, με χαρά μοιράζομαι μερικές εικόνες από το γάμο της Aga και του Πάνου στην Κόρινθο. Είναι η δεύτερη φορά που βλέπετε φωτογραφίες από αυτό το ωραίο ζευγάρι και θα υπάρξει και τρίτη, αφού πριν λίγες ημέρες γύρισα από το Kozsalin (είναι η πόλη της Βόρειας Πολωνίας που μεγάλωσε η Aga) όπου φωτογράφισα την πολωνική έκδοση ενός πάρτι γάμου.
Ένα ζεστό απόγευμα του Αυγούστου συνάντησα την Aga, την οικογένεια και τους φίλους της που είχαν έρθει από την Πολωνία, στο Λουτράκι. Ήταν μαζί της και βοηθούσαν στην προετοιμασία. Έκαναν το μεγάλο ταξίδι για το γάμο της, αλλά εκμεταλλεύτηκαν την ευκαιρία για καλοκαιρινές διακοπές στην Ελλάδα.
While I am in Corfu for the last destination wedding this season, I am happy to share some of my favorite images from the wedding of Aga & Panos in Corinth. It is the second time that you are seeing images of this sweet couple on my website (and it will be a third, as I just returned from northern Poland with images of the local version of a wedding party. For this wedding, I teamed up with Dimitra Pavlaki and her sharp pair of eyes. Some of the images you will see, are hers.
It was a hot August afternoon that I drove to Loutraki, to meet Aga, her family, and Polish friends. They kept her company and assisted in her preparation. For them this wedding turned to an opportunity for summer vacations in Greece. They all spent next week in Zakynthos, before taking the long road home. Την ίδια ώρα στο σπίτι του Πάνου στην Κόρινθο, υπήρχε λίγη περισσότερη κίνηση. Οι φίλοι του δεν χρειάστηκε να κάνουν χιλιόμετρα για να τον ντύσουν. Επίσης, η μαμά και ο αδερφός του, είχαν ετοιμάσει μια πολύ συγκινητική μουσική έκπληξη. Εκεί ήταν η Δήμητρα Παυλάκη με την οποία συνεργαστήκαμε και πολλές από τις εικόνες είναι δικές της.
At the same time, Dimitra was at Panos’s house where his family and friends helped him get dressed and made a surprise singing session with his brother on the piano and his mom on main vocals.
Το μυστήριο ήταν ευχάριστο για όλους, ειδικά γι’ αυτούς που δεν είχαν ξαναδεί ορθόδοξο γάμο. Κάποιες στιγμές έμοιαζαν να περιμένουν με απορία, αλλά στο τέλος κατάλαβαν εύκολα τι πρέπει να κάνουν όταν το ζευγάρι έβγαινε από την εκκλησία.
The ceremony was pretty fun for everyone, especially for those who had never attended an Orthodox wedding before. There were moments that they waited to see and figure out what is happening, but they seemed to have no issue with throwing rice, as the couple walked out of the church. They needed zero time to understand what they are supposed to do.
Αργότερα στη δεξίωση στο Αιθρία, ο υπέροχος χώρος ήταν γεμάτος από την πολύχρωμη διακόσμηση της Γιώτας από το “Details Events and More”. Η Aga και ο Πάνος είχαν ένα διαρκές χαμόγελο, καθώς διασκέδαζαν με τους καλεσμένους τους, πολλούς από τους οποίους είχαν καιρό να δουν αφού ζουν σε διαφορετικά μέρη του κόσμου. Ο Φώτης, η Karolina και η Marcelina, είχαν ετοιμάσει εάν slideshow, που ήταν μια έκπληξη για όλους, ειδικά για το ζευγάρι.
The reception was held at Aithria, which is one of the best venues for a wedding reception in the area. Yiota from “Details Events and More” had made a very stylish and colorful decoration compilation. Aga and Panos had a constant smile on their faces, as they partied along with friends, who they hadn’t seen for a while as they all live in different parts of the world. They shared their happiness and joy with their guests. A slideshow made by Fotis, Karolina and Marcelina was a pleasant surprise for all (including our couple).
